Today I've been adding collage - it's very liberating. It has a profound effect on space - it rapidly alters things. A painting emerges into something quite different, quite quickly.
I wanted to create a sense of flow and
movement. The later image develops with
further processes of painting so much of the text is illegible. The text itself was selected from Beeton's All About Gardening, a very worthy tome that recommends a Horse Shoe Boiler for the greenhouse and offers lengthy offerings regarding bush fruit management. Collaging and gardening seem to go together in my world.
